AUG 25, 2025:  Support Pres.Trump’s “Taking Steps To End Cashless Bail To Protect Americans"

Democracy Depends On Public Participation!

Politics impacts every facet of our lives in profound and endless ways. And that's why we all should be involved. Political parties are the place where we meet to discuss the issues of the day, recruit candidates, run elections, promote or oppose legislation, and hold our government accountable. Political parties can be like a second family and help provide all kinds of support. That's not to say that political parties are perfect. Far from it. That's why they need our help to do what's right and not go off the deep end into crazyland, complacency, or corruption. So, let's not be an "armchair patriot". Join a political party. It's where the action is!

Hi everyone, I'm Lynn Landes of LynnLandes.com I'm a lifelong activist, writer, speaker, and community volunteer. I started The Network to help promote legislation, recruit candidates, and assist the Republican Party in any way I can. To that end, you are strongly encouraged to join The National GOP.com, State PaGOP.org, PhillyGOP.com (also see Related Groups), as well as The Network

I also strongly suggest that you join your local civic association, for that's where you can learn about peoples' concerns, offer to help, as well as ask for their support for your political causes and candidates. After all, politics is a two-way street!

Join us at City Council meetings on Thursdays and help increase the GOP presence!  Email me at LynnLandes@gmail.com so that we can all sit together.

Today's Republican Party stands for "common sense" and that includes free speech, voting integrity, government transparency and accountability, public safety, secure borders, effective education, and meritocracy, plus protecting our jobs, health, and resources.  We may have disagreements on certain issues, but we agree on our core "common sense" values and the need to defend them.

Philadelphia city government has been dominated by the Democrat Party since 1952! ... as taxes and crime have gone up, student test scores have gone down, and jobs have gone away. A culture of complacency, incompetence, and corruption permeates city government, as the mentally-disabled homeless, panhandlers, and drug addicts continue to haunt city streets. Free speech is systematically censored at government public meetings, and our elections are easy to rig, either by accident or design. Meanwhile, too many of our older neighborhoods are literally crumbling into rubble.

It's time for a change. It's time for Republican leadership. And it's not too early to plan for the 2026 Midterm Elections which will include both federal and statewide offices.  We're looking for great Congressional Candidates for U.S. Congressional Districts 2, 3, and 5, as well as for state races and committee people. It is critical that Republicans retain, if not widen, control of Congress in order to ensure the success of the Trump presidency.  The Midterm Elections will include all 435 seats in the U.S. House and 33 of the 100 seats in the U.S. Senate. (Neither PA US Senators are up for election in 2026).

Americans' right to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" is a right we must fight for every day. So, let's all pitch in and do our part. Join the Republican Party to help build a better future for all Philadelphians!  Learn more below...

HOWEVER,, and this is just an idea, if we want to attract voters back to the polls and hold hand-counted paper ballot elections, we will need much shorter and less confusing elections and ballots. In order for the suggested schedule below to work, we need to make all offices 4-year terms, plus take off the ballot the following: questions (elected officials can send out surveys instead), judges (nobody knows who they are, let lawyers vote on them), election boards (county commissioners should be responsible to fill vacancies with members of all parties, using the jury duty model, if necessary), and all offices below the executive, such as is done on the federal level. See suggested election rotational schedule  BELOW
