THE PHILADELPHIA PLAN
PUBLIC HEALTH -
GET FIT!
We need a healthy populace. Health
Care includes three main factors: 1) The quality of
health care, which is currently horrific since most doctors know
next to nothing about nutrition (Source)
or toxic exposure
(Source), let alone what to do about them, 2) The cost of
health care, which is also horrific for the majority of Americans
(60%) who don't qualify for free public health care (Source),
and 3) The availability of health care, which is also
horrific for those who live in rural areas (Source).
We
support:
- Prevention. Free public education
for the public (and the medical profession) on
what is
a healthy diet, sensible exercise, and toxins to avoid. See:HealthChecklist.htm.
Many foods are inflammatory or anti-nutrients, many exercise
routines and sports can do more harm than good, and most
people are not knowledgeable about the many toxins in
commercial products - which should be banned by the
government, but aren't as yet. This situation is a
good example of capitalism run amuck without sufficient
government involvement, oversight, or enforcement.
- Free public healthcare with a
private option. The cost of healthcare in America
is the leading cause of bankruptcy, devastating individuals,
families, and businesses. Medical staff should be generously
paid, to include a bonus payment structure dependent on
patient reviews. We also support a private option, so that
people can go to their own doctors. However, we strongly
believe in banning insurance companies entirely, as they are
unnecessary and harmful; ruining the medical profession by
dictating to doctors how they should conduct their practice.

First "Do no harm".
- All medications and
medical procedures should be tested for long-term health
consequences, as well as for cumulative impact. It
appears that many, if not most, vaccines, other medicines,
and medical procedures have not been studied for long-term
harmful health effects, nor the accumulative impact of being
exposed to multiple medications and procedures. And, in the
case of vaccines, true placebo tests should take place, not
using a vaccine as a placebo which has been the case.
- All patients, and particularly parents, should receive full
information (including the FDA-required manufacturers' package insert)
on all medications and all vaccines, including how they can
affect our health and our drinking water (as our drinking
water is not filtered for medications and other drugs). In
addition, herbal remedies should be considered first and pharmaceuticals last, as all these
medications are contaminating our drinking water. Exception
to free health care - cosmetic treatments unrelated to
health, birth defects, or injuries.
- No liability protection
for medical equipment or pharmaceuticals, which now
exists for many if not most vaccines.
Abortion. The elephant
in the room that is not going away, and continues to
cause devastating GOP losses across the nation. It was a
well-intentioned, but huge mistake for the
GOP and the Supreme Court to make this a state issue in that many
people, such as those in the military, have little control
over where they live. Therefore, they cannot choose to live
in a state that allows abortion. Frankly, many Republicans
(40%) support abortion for any reason in the first
trimester
(Source), which is the standard in Europe
(Source). That is not to say that abortion is right or
wrong, but many believe that it is a deeply personal decision that should
remain personal for the first trimester. After that, a sound
argument can be made that it is infanticide.
In Philly, we support:
- Parents should also be notified,
per mail, about the PA vaccine "opt-out" option for
students. That said, we oppose the use of any and all
vaccines at HealthAlertPhilly.org.
- Requiring
The Water Department to stop
adding the neurotoxin, fluoride, to its water. See:
FluorideAlert.org
- Requiring Department of Parks & Recreation to do the
following: 1) End the use of toxic turf
(See SaveTheMeadows.com), and 2) End the use of toxic chemicals
on public property per the HOPS Act (See
ToxicFreePhilly.org).
- A ban on the illicit sale of drugs,
directly or indirectly, such as in smoke shops.
- A ban on any marijuana smoke that can contaminate
the air of people and/or properties.
- Require all
bike riders wear reflective vests!
