This week’s TAKE ACTION! is in support of Support of Pres Trump's Executive order "ENDING CRIME & DISORDER ON AMERICA’S STREETS"

 SAMPLE LETTER R

Dear ________________,

Public safety is the most important role of government, which is why I strongly support President Trump's July 24, 2025 Mental Health Executive Order “Ending Crime and Disorder on America’s Streets”. https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/07/ending-crime-and-disorder-on-americas-streets

In Philadelphia, as well as in many cities and towns across the country, local government officials have taken a “soft on crime” approach to law enforcement, as well as abandoned our mentally disabled and/or drug addicted residents to live on the streets. As a result, many of our communities are plagued with criminals, panhandlers, and the homeless.

Many mentally-disabled people need mandatory long-term or even life-time care in secure facilities. President Trump’s Executive Order addresses that issue.  We also want the federal government to ensure that any medications and treatments prescribed for the mentally disabled have been thoroughly tested for safety and effectiveness. Furthermore, it is vital that we address the root causes of our mental health crisis, including toxic exposures. See https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender_category/toxic-exposures

Our local police, district attorneys, and state attorneys general should ensure the safety of our communities or else face prosecution by the Department of Justice (DOJ). Most importantly, the US Congress, as well as state and local legislative bodies, should strengthen our laws in order to support President Trump’s Executive Order. We need to finally fix these systemic government failures to protect the public’s health and safety.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This week’s TAKE ACTION! is in support of "The Fairness in Women’s Sports Act
"!

SAMPLE LETTER R(Lynn Landes’s  Letter to the Editor, published July 20, 2025) https://www.inquirer.com/opinion/letters/letters-editor-july-20-2025-fetterman-trans-athletes-penn-20250720.html?query=be%20fair

Democratic representatives in the state House should support, and Gov. Josh Shapiro should sign, the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act. The Republican-controlled state Senate has already passed it with bipartisan support, but House Democrats seem to be causing some delays. It’s past time to protect our girls and women. In fact, this violation of girls’ and women’s rights should never have happened. Men are, on average, bigger (15%-20%) and stronger (33%) than women. Therefore, pitting males against females is a direct threat to women’s health and well-being. Furthermore, allowing the presence of naked males (or females) in the locker rooms and showers of the opposite sex is a crime. It’s called “indecent exposure.” Women have already suffered enough physical, emotional, and legal injuries, plus lost awards and grants, due to this misplaced empathy for males who want to identify as females. And to that point, many support a separate category for transgender athletes. So why continue to allow girls’ and women’s rights to be so unfairly and unnecessarily violated? Pass the bill now.
